Graphite

For me, graphite pencils are magical. With them, I can produce a range of tones, from the lightest gray to the deepest black. Whether capturing the delicate contours of a portrait, the intricate details of a red cabbage, or sketching a flock of running sheep, the right graphite pencil can make all the difference in translating the world onto paper. Come visit my Graphite World and enjoy the deep, dark tones.

In my earlier work I didn’t use much black, images below, it took me a few years of practice to find the right way to incorporate it.
